We are a small, inclusive, inner-city church that incorporates a 140+ year history with a thoughtfully determined and visceral faith.

We have an ongoing and integral relationship with CORT, a Housing Trust established through the church in 1987 that aims to serve at-risk and low income tenants.

Our church services are held each Sunday at 10am. A typical church service includes: call to worship, morning tea, prayers, singing, music, readings, sermon, free for all (a chance for people to say what's on their mind).

PBC is a Registered Charity with the Charities Commission. Our Registration No is: CC28076. Click here for details.

Things to remember if you're coming to the building for Sunday services or other gatherings:
  • Stay home if you're sick!
  • Keep track of when you've been at church: using our QR code when you arrive is an easy way to do this
  • Wash or santise your hands when you arrive, and before eating
  • Cough or sneeze into your elbow, away from people
  • Please respect other people's personal space and comfort: returning to in-person gathering might be enough for some of us, without handshakes, hugs or close quarters chats and singing
